I once read in a book how Elizabeth Arden made make-up popular amongst the uppers classes, previously it was only used by “whores” or actresses. After skin treatments she’d add a bit of colour only nudes of course, and when they went out there peers would notice their cheeks were glowing and their skin looked brighter and they wanted to know why. So yesterday was my first full day back at university Hurray ! We learnt many amazing things but my favourite lecture of the day was decorative cosmetics. We had the amazing Claire Summers of Azelis (S black)conduct a lesson on Colour theory. (S. Black are a company that offers innovative ingredients for Cosmetics, Personal Care, Food, Fragrance and Health care)
