Clutching on to the batton
Anyone that went to school sports day knows that besides the egg and spoon race the most tense and exhilarating time can be during the relay race when the batton is passed from one contestant to another. Everyone exhales as is it passed on without dropping to the floor as they anticipate the next pass at the next point.
Personally I feel that this can be likened to many aspects of life, i.e....
